The Mission
04:23
|

- The Mission -
You've been sent to the world unknown,
everything's so green
Through the treetops intertwined,
a waterfall pristine
The remains of the high-rise towers
Are nowhere to be seen
A once mighty civilization
Overwhelmed by its sins
And I wonder where to go?
And I ponder my next move...
Banned from stalemate society
Sentenced for the feeling
Cast to isolation in primal world
A solitary being
From this point of no return
Everything seems clear
Humanity has lost its way
Dragged down by its own fears
And I wonder where to go?
And I ponder my next move...
Determined to confront the past
No future awaits you here
The journey you should undertake
Will lead you nowhere near...
You've been sent to the world unknown,
everything's so green
Through the treetops intertwined,
a waterfall pristine
And I wonder where to go?
And I ponder my next move...
Determined to confront the past
The future awaits you here
The journey you should undertake
Will lead you nowhere near...

Altered State

|

- Altered State -
Beyond the distant lights,
from forgotten dream she beckons me,
a crude sample of reality,
the voice to face I cannot see.
An artifact, hiding in the stream of aimless love
I reach out, but I'm out of sync and out of time
The moment's gone,
But I'm watching out,
I'll be watching out...
Are you real,
or are you just a silhouette?
A pattern repeating
within chaos of this altered state.
Descending through
the maze of collective life I try to find
a manifestation of her
an afterthought to lust she left behind
Are you real,
or are you just a silhouette?
A pattern repeating
within chaos of this altered state.

Back to Earth
03:35
|
|||
- Back to Earth -
Swift sunrise lighting up the malignant skies
Blinding streaks rush through my eyes
Side by side, I see architect and his design
Dying in a desperate clutch
Have our minds tricked us into feeling proud (proud as a God)
When everything is lost and no one is obliged (we stand aside)
Ruins and dust is everything we left behind (watching the world)
Running away from our imminent decline (slowly subside)
Standing here I sense the urge to straighten things out
Seeing truth in different light
Where to start, is there anything one can devise (so helpless I feel)
Or should we just sit down and face our own demise? (not a clue or a sign)
By leaving Earth, humanity has lost its right (the pain is real)
To savor the dreams of innocence and light (but the hope still resides, the time draws nigh...)

Noble Messenger
03:40
|

- Noble Messenger -
Staring into my eyes
He's trying to disguise
The preconception of a savage mind
He was told that he would find
In survivors from the plague
He has the power
To free us from our woes
The bots he bears, they can help us
Heal our people now
Listening to my words
Through my mangled vocal cords
Recognizing the tales of the wise
Which has come as a surprise
To a noble messenger
You make the vow
Free us from our pain
The bots you bear, give them to us
Heal our people now

Lure
05:20
|
|||
- Lure -
He came from the distance
From another world
He has no disease on him
And his blood is pure
These machines within him
Will that be our cure?
Is he gonna save us,
Or he's just a lure?
Waiting for Moon to shine the light
On the empty stage
In this pretentious play
I've been dragged into
Is it all ending tonight?
Pompous finale nearing
Will I be the protagonist
Or the adversary?
Knowing what is right
Finding the courage to lead them to fight
Bring them the wisdom to follow the light
To rise against evil and lies that have lured me to be
Bearer of the bots, the lure or the cure, sent to the Earth, I'll try to endure
The Mars is high in the sky
Looking it from afar
Now I feel resentment
At what was home once
It seems the new beginning
Is what I've been longing for
To undo the guilt
Of the primordial sin
Showing them the light
Determined to bring on the desperate fight
Finally doing the only thing right
Saving humanity from itself I choose to be
Giver of the bots, the cure, not the lure, rising from Earth, I know I'll endure
